Helm & HideMobile Leather Restoration
Auto Leather Restoration

Cracked seats and faded panels, fixed where the car sits.

Florida sun and daily use are hard on leather and vinyl interiors. We restore color, close cracks, and rebuild worn spots in place — usually without pulling the seat.

For Drivers & Owners

What we typically fix

Cracked & split seats

Bolster and seat-back cracks from UV exposure and daily wear, filled, grained, and color-matched to the surrounding leather.

Faded dash & door panels

Sun-bleached or discolored trim restored to match factory color — a common issue on cars parked outside in South Florida.

Worn steering wheels

Shiny, cracked, or peeling steering wheel leather refinished without replacing the wheel.

How pricing works

Most single-seat repairs run well below the cost of reupholstering or replacing a seat. That said, we don’t quote blind over the phone — damage severity varies too much for a flat number to be honest. Send photos and we’ll confirm your price before any work starts.

No damage yet, just want to keep it that way? See our care & maintenance plans — cleaning, conditioning, and UV protection that prevent cracking rather than fix it.

For Dealers & Detail Shops

Reconditioning that protects your margin

A cracked seat or worn steering wheel can cost a dealer more in negotiated price than the repair itself — before a car ever hits the lot or an auction block. We work as a subcontractor to detail shops and a direct partner to dealers:

How it works

  • Photo-based estimates, fast turnaround
  • Batch pricing for multiple vehicles
  • Scheduling built around your lot, not the other way around
  • One point of contact for every job

Who this is for

  • Pre-owned and luxury dealers prepping trade-ins
  • Independent detail shops that need a leather specialist
  • Fleet and rental operators managing wear across multiple vehicles
